Celebrate the arrival of migrating monarchs at the annual Monarch Watch Fall Open House!

This free, family-friendly event will feature tours of Monarch Watch’s laboratories, gardens and Monarch Waystation #1. Visitors can learn how to create monarch habitat and explore the butterfly and pollinator garden maintained by the Douglas County Master Gardeners.

Activities will include:

• Garden and laboratory tours
• Games and educational activities
• Monarch-tagging demonstrations
• Live monarch butterflies and caterpillars
• Information about Monarch Waystations and pollinator conservation

This will primarily be an outdoor event. Visitors are encouraged to bring their cameras and explore the gardens while monarchs and other pollinators are active.
