How to Map a Project

Follow these steps to locate, define, and print a map for your BMP project.

Video: Chris Janssen demonstrates a WRAPS-specific mapping example.

Find your project locationEnter Latitude/Longitude coordinates in the search bar (include the “-” for negative longitude) OR search for a nearby address/landmark.

Define the area (Polygon Tool)Click the Polygon Tool in the toolbar. A pop-up box will appear.

In the Pop-up Box:

  • Measurements Tab: Change units to “Acres”.
  • Style/Color Tab: Set opacity to 40%.

Click around the perimeter of your project area to draw the shape.

Create & Save PDFClick the Printer Icon. Hover over “Untitled Map” and click Edit to add a title/legend. Click Save PDF when done.
