2026 Make a Splash Topeka Water Festival

September 17 @ 9:30 am - 2:00 pm CDT

Kansas WRAPS is pleased to share the 2026 Make a Splash Topeka Water Festival, hosted by the Kansas Association for Conservation and Environmental Education (KACEE).

The annual festival gives Topeka-area fourth-grade students an opportunity to explore water through fun, hands-on educational activity stations. Students will learn how water travels from rivers to their faucets, ways to conserve water, how communities keep water clean and healthy, and how to stay safe while enjoying Kansas waterways.

Approximately 1,000 students participate in activities designed to strengthen their understanding of water’s importance and encourage lifelong stewardship of this shared natural resource.

The festival will be held Thursday, September 17, 2026, from 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Garfield Park in Topeka.

This event is designed for participating fourth-grade classes. Educators, volunteers, organizations, and community members interested in supporting the festival should contact KACEE for additional information.
