Kansas StreamLink Program
Kansas StreamLink is a statewide watershed education program of the Kaw Valley Heritage Alliance (KVHA). KVHA’s dedicated staff and leadership have extensive experience with watershed community development. Watershed restoration and protection of the Wakarusa River Valley is also a major project of the Alliance. StreamLink began working with stream teams in 1998. We have extensive records of Kansas’ stream teams including local program details, group activity logs, site records, and observation submissions. StreamLink’s watershed-correlated website provides a public interface with local stream teams. The program uses a variety of multidisciplinary and multimedia techniques to provide for Kansas’ watershed educational needs. Instructional support is tailored to specific watersheds and designed to fit the needs of program participants. StreamLink is also available for the design and development of community water resource projects.
