DESCRIPTION:Join mapping\, GIS\, surveying\, planning\, data\, and government professionals from across Kansas for the 2026 Kansas Association of Mappers Annual Conference: Mapping on the Chisholm Trail. \nKansas WRAPS\, through the Kansas Department of Health and Environment’s Bureau of Environmental Field Services\, Watershed Management Section\, is proud to support this year’s conference as a Gold Exhibitor. \nBe sure to stop by the Kansas WRAPS booth to meet our team and learn more about: \n• Finding your local watershed and WRAPS project\n• Watershed boundaries and priority areas\n• Funding and cost-share opportunities\n• Successful conservation and water-quality projects\n• Partnerships supporting locally led watershed improvements\n• How GIS and interactive maps support watershed planning\, outreach\, and project implementation \nPRECONFERENCE WORKSHOPS — OCTOBER 6 \nAttendees can begin KAM 2026 early with hands-on workshops and additional professional-development opportunities on Tuesday\, October 6. \nWorkshop offerings include: \n• Introduction to COGO Editing in ArcGIS Pro\n• Kansas NG911 GIS Data Maintainer certification training\n• Legal Descriptions – The Quick and Dirty\n• Introduction to Experience Builder\n• Map That Spreadsheet! \nThe Kansas NG911 GIS Data Maintainer workshop is free\, but registration is required. Other workshops have separate registration fees. \nThe workshops are open to everyone. Participants do not have to register for the full KAM Conference to attend a workshop.
