SUMMARY:Mycorrhizal Fungi Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Save the date for a Mycorrhizal Fungi Workshop hosted by the Cheney Lake Watershed on Thursday\, December 3\, 2026. \nThe workshop will feature Endy Lopes Kailer\, a Ph.D. candidate in Agronomy and Soil Science at Kansas State University. Endy’s research focuses on arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi and their role in improving soil health\, soil aggregation\, and carbon storage. \nDuring this workshop\, Endy will share what she has learned from several years of testing soils across Kansas and studying the beneficial fungi living below the soil surface. \nFarmers\, landowners\, conservation professionals\, and anyone interested in soil biology and soil health are encouraged to attend for a day of learning. \nAdditional information\, including the workshop location\, schedule\, and registration details\, will be announced soon.
