The Kansas Soil Health School is designed for producers who are beginning their soil health journey and are ready to take the next steps in their operations. \nEducational topics will include: \n• Introduction to soil properties\n• Soil biology and nutrient cycling\n• Grazing cover crops\n• Hands-on grazing activities\n• Soil and plant testing\n• Hands-on soil health assessments\n• Equipment modifications for soil health\n• Livestock collars and other on-farm technology\n• Farmer perspectives on soil health challenges\, successes\, and profitability \nRegistration is $100 and includes meals\, snacks\, a resource binder\, soil health books\, and additional educational materials.
