Project Achievements:

Two initial landowner meetings were held in which the Upper Wakarusa WRAPS objectives were prioritized for the smaller sub-watersheds. Two stakeholder committees were formed and have identified BMPs to address local water quality issues. BMPs are being installed. A burn school and a burn demonstration were held according to stakeholder committee request.
